About Star Anchor Hunt
Star Anchor Hunt was started with an objective of becoming India’s biggest search for the most promising News talent. STAR News’ STAR ANCHOR HUNT is a path breaking initiative to bring forward the hidden talent of those who want to shine in the News Media world. It’s a platform for all those, who aspire to become India's most promising news professionals.
Star News has adopted a multi stage rigorous elimination process to select Star Anchor among thousands of aspirants across country. Star Anchor Hunt 2010 was judged by Chetan Bhagat, Tisca Chopra and Deepak Chourasia. Out of thousands entries received across country, Star News selected 2 most promising Stars and made them Star Anchors.
Star Anchor Hunt team went across 10 cities in India and auditioned thousands of participants. After primary round of GD and written test, participants faced please to camera test. After this, selected ones got chance to go face to face with our judges who then evaluated their anchoring skills. Star Anchor Hunt team then selected 20 most promising Stars across country and trained them for anchoring at their Noida office. After successive rounds of elimination and task completion, two Star Anchors were awarded with Ford Figo car and a lifetime opportunity – to become anchor on Star News.
